PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The 14-12 months-previous niece of an Allegheny County Judge of Elections is experiencing expenses just after investigators say she stole her aunt’s automobile with an elections suitcase within of it.
In accordance to Allegheny County officials, essential election elements have been inside that suitcase when the car was taken. The incident delayed the opening of the Pittsburgh 05-05 polling place this morning.
Investigators say the auto was stolen Monday night time in the Hill District and noticed this early morning by a Allegheny County sheriff’s deputy in Beltzhoover. The sheriff’s deputy chased the automobile until eventually five folks bailed out, all believed to be juveniles.
